The Problem

Most Select Programs Play Games.
They Don’t Develop Players.

You’ve seen it. Families pay thousands for tournament weekends — hotel rooms, long drives, early mornings — and their daughter plays four games with no coaching between them. No skill work. No film. No plan.

Most programs can’t tell you what your daughter needs to work on. They schedule games. They manage rosters. They collect checks. That’s not player development. That’s basketball tourism.

Your daughter deserves a program that develops her skills, builds her confidence, and respects her time. That’s what Fierce exists to deliver.

Our Philosophy
Vision·Trust·Joy

Fierce is built on the belief that young women improve fastest when expectations are clear, effort is rewarded, and life balance is respected.

We teach vision, trust, collaboration, communication, respect, joy, and accountability — through basketball. Our practices are 90% skill development. Less plays, more playing. We build confident, resilient athletes who carry these skills off the court.

Last season’s team GPA: 3.8. We attract serious students and multi-sport athletes — including track — and we respect that reality.

Confidence built here transfers everywhere.

Who Fierce Is For

This Program Isn’t for Everyone.
It’s for the Right Ones.

Coachable, competitive players who want to get better

Families who value skill development, structure, and communication

Multi-sport athletes — including track athletes

Players who want to be part of a real team culture

This program is not a fit for players seeking guaranteed minutes, families unwilling to commit to team standards, or athletes not ready for accountability around culture, effort, and fun.

What Makes Fierce Different

We Measure Everything.
Your Daughter Will See Her Own Improvement.

Every player gets baseline tested and re-tested throughout the season. Results go on the whiteboard — visible, transparent, real. No vague claims. Numbers. Percentages. Progress.

Our target: 30% measurable improvement across key performance areas during the Fierce season.

Shooting

3-point catch & shoot, curl cut shooting, star drill movement shooting, transition shooting, pull-up jumpers, free throws

Finishing

X-out layup drills — both hands, both sides, game-speed

Defense

Defensive slides timed with and without resistance bands — tracked for speed and endurance gains

Speed & Conditioning

17s for speed, suicides/lines with live dribbling, timed and charted

Athleticism

Vertical jump training, bodyweight conditioning, functional strength baselines

The Whiteboard

Every player’s numbers are posted. You’ll see your improvement — and so will your teammates.

Tournament Philosophy

We Respect Your Daughter’s Whole Life.
Not Just Her Basketball.

Many Fierce athletes are serious students, track athletes, and multi-sport competitors. We respect that reality. Here’s how we handle it:

We identify 7 high-quality tournament options

Families complete a Google Form poll during week one of practice

6 tournaments are played per player out of 7 total

Players may miss one event for school obligations without fear of reduced playing time

This approach protects school commitments, builds trust with families, creates more development minutes, and leads to healthier team dynamics.

We also choose not to travel all over the state and country. That costs families over a thousand dollars a weekend. We believe time in the gym — playing Fierce alumni, playing against boys, working with coaches — develops players more than travel ever will.

Questions

FAQ

My daughter runs track. Will that be a problem?

Not at all. Many Fierce athletes are multi-sport competitors. Our schedule is built to accommodate track season, and players can miss one tournament for school obligations without any penalty to playing time.

Is there guaranteed playing time?

We don’t guarantee minutes — but we commit to you. Players who show up, compete in practice, and bring effort will play. This is a development program built on meritocracy and accountability.

How are tournaments selected?

Families complete a Google Form poll during week one of practice. We identify 7 high-quality options, the team votes, and 7 are played. Each player plays 6, with flexibility to miss one. No drama.

What if we can’t afford the full fee?

Text Coach Corbett at 512-921-4444. Payment plans are available. Talent and commitment shouldn’t be limited by budget.

How do I know my daughter is actually improving?

Because we’ll show you. Skill testing is done at the start of the season and tracked throughout. Shooting percentages, speed times, defensive benchmarks, vertical leap — all posted on the whiteboard. Data, not opinions.

What about the Houston tournament?

Clash of Clubs (Houston) is an optional discussion. It requires Thursday travel, a missed school day Friday, and a three-night hotel stay. We’ll only go if talent supports it, players are committed, and parents are aligned. The decision is made collectively — never forced.
